Founder of Kripalu Yoga

Kripa is the Sanskrit word for blessing and grace.

Kripalu Yoga is a wholesome, simple and effective yoga practice that intertwines Hatha with Raja yoga. From the very beginning the focus is drawn into the body. An awareness is cultivated of ongoing physical, mental and emotional changes because the quality of our lives is continually influenced by the fluctuations of these states.

The teaching style of Kripalu yoga is one of support, safety,
and self trust.
